Mod Makeup

Since its conception in London in the 1960s, the mod look has always been as much about makeup as it is about fashion, so much so that even male mods were known to enhance their looks with eyeshadow, liner and even lipstick. False lashes, black eyeliner, a pale complexion and nearly nude lips were the the height of cool and this season the dramatic look is back. From Christian Dior's Fall 2008 collection to Eva Mendes, check out the modern mod.

The film was inspired by the 1960s television show, so its seems only fitting that its star's look borrows from the decade as well.
