Photographers and reporters mobbed the Kim and Khloe Kardashian for the first show, D'Amore by Marceau -- a line of swimsuits with Los Angeles celebutaunt Caroline D'Amore's face on a mixture of bright Spanish-style prints.

The producer told me that Caroline was working on a movie and unable to attend. It's not like this was a Chanel Runway without Karl Lagerfield, but it would have been nice to see the model/actress with a few of her inspired swimwear patterns.

The closing show in the Main Tent was Lauren Conrad's Spring '09 Collection. Last season she was in Stage One, the smaller of the stages. She's moving on up, and her friends came out to support. Boyfriend Kyle Howard, from My Boys, sat front row with Frankie Delgado. Gavin Degraw and LC's ex Jason Wahler completed the section. Across from Hills star Lauren Conrad sat newly single Playmate Holly Madison.
