Finally, we had a chance to test out the brunette blue eyed makeup kit that PD Roche of UBU Makeup sent our way. Lucky for us she sent us two shadows, a blush, mascara, gloss, eyeliner and an application booklet so that we could take the goods from day to night.

First, we must say, most of the men in our lives have made it clear they don't mind makeup but they certainly don't want to know it's there. After an easy five minute application, our tester bounded downstairs, ready for an easy lunch, where upon her husband said "You look great! Are you ready already?! Hey... do you even have makeup on?" Swoon!

Afterwards, she worked for a few more hours in the afternoon and by dinnertime was happy to see that the truffle shadow, blush, and mascara was still intact. She quickly touched up her makeup and added the second shadow, gray liner, and a swipe of gloss and was out the door again to reveal her new night time look.

After a few hours of shopping trip and one too many glasses of wine, our tester returned home and was amazed that her makeup stayed put, even without any other skin product (foundations, powders, etc.) to hold it in place. The only that thing needed reapplication was the liner, which had smudged and faded into the shadow. We call that success!
