Drinking water helps complexions - Style Lies
Filed under: Fashion, How to Wear
According to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, drinking lots of water does little more to the complexion than bloat it, which in turn, helps temporarily reduce the look of wrinkles.Drinking water is always a wise idea because it lubricates the body from the inside out, works as an appetite suppressant, and helps clean out body parts like the kidney. But in reality, it really doesn't clear up the complexion. A mixture of things like a healthy diet and exercise combined with water can help the body and skin look and feel great but water alone can't do the deed.

Boydie! You're breaking my heart with this beauty-myth-debunking! Part of my water drinking motivation was always the good skin thing, but now I have to reprogram my mind to love it purely for the internal goodness.
Of course, now I can always blame "bloated skin" for my jeans being tight!
