Dior taps Marion Cotillard for Lady Dior ad campaign

Marion Cotillard is the beautiful French woman who won a Academy Award about three years ago for her role in La Vie en Rose. Subtitles aside, though, Cotillard is probably more widely known in America for her now infamous statements about the horrible collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11.

Let us refresh your memory: "You are shown that other towers of the same kind that were hit by planes, that burnt - there is a tower, I think that it's in Spain, that burnt for twenty-four hours."

Uh, yeah. She's kind of crazy but Dior's John Galliano doesn't mind one bit (must be a French thing) because he just asked the pretty nut job to front the ever-popular Lady Dior bag campaign. The bag was introduced in 1995 and was often carried by the late Diana, Princess of Whales. Other famous women who have posed with Dior's handbags in the past include Monica Bellucci and Diane Kruger, just to name a few.

Hopefully, the actress won't be doing any interviews promoting her new gig because, well, that would just be odd!
