As little girls many of us dreamed of growing up and began a woman. As a woman, many of us dream of specific womanly items we'd like to acquire. One of these items in particular is the iconic Chanel 2.55 bag.

It seems we aren't the only one with these visions of Chanel. The traveling art exhibition "Mobile Art" is taking a shrine dedicated to the Chanel 2.55 on tour. It hits Central Park in November and will travel around the world through 2009.

Aboard you can see countless celebrities from Ann Margaret to Anne Hathaway carrying dozens of incarnations of the prized possession, where Mademoiselle Chanel got her inspiration for the bag, and works of art (sculpture, vids, photos) all hailing the 2.55.
