Melanie Bernier is a gorgeous, young French actress who we've never heard of before, but she made quite an impression at the Quantum of Solace Paris premiere. We cut the French some slack -- they can pull off some edgier, funkier looks than most of us can, but this? Uhhh, no.

This hair is killing us. And, as you see here, it doesn't get any better with a up close. This was taken on the day before Halloween, so maybe she was just practicing hair for a crazy costume ... but we doubt it.


We're also not all that excited about the rest of her outfit, what with this being a movie premiere, but since she's so darn cute (seriously, just look at that face! Don't you want to buy her a puppy?), we're going to give her a pass on it.

Plus, she's French, so it's entirely possible we'll be wearing the exact same thing to a formal event next year.
