Blumera, previously credited as "One of those designers you should know by now," recently had a trunk show at the exclusive Clarabella boutique in New York City.

The designer, lovely Mehera Blum (at right), was there and glowing with the kind of sparkly good energy you get from her handbags. The shop was filled with her gorgeous creations, some of which you can see here on our website and here on her website. Mehera Blum has been busy!

Blum spent much of this year in Bali, where she works with local artists to create and manufacture her unique designs. She is just now in the process of opening her own factory, but swung by New York to meet with bigwigs at the fancier department stores. "They want skins," she said, petting the Norina python bag.

So, first of all, we want Mehera's life. Secondly, we want her talent. Maybe not in that order. Blum is now branching into clothing and even jewelry design!
