Sex and the City sequel (not) coming soon!

Sex and the City fans were beyond thrilled to hear that Kim Cattrall confirmed a sequel being in the works next summer. Actually, thrilled is an understatement -- they were busting out the cosmos and Manolos and planning movie release parties already! However, Sarah Jessica Parker brought us all crashing back down to Earth when she announced that she has no idea what Kim's talking about.

Perez Hilton reports that SJP responded to Kim's claims saying, "I'm thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done. With 'the wind on our heels,' we hope to make it a reality."

Because we all need more SATC fashion in our lives

Please Sarah Jessica, don't crush our dreams! We have to know -- do you and Big live happily ever after? Will Samantha ever settle down? What's the next "it" shoe going to be? Don't leave us in suspense!
