Sneak Peak: Thakoon for Target

Guess what? Thakoon's affordable diffusion line debuts at Target next month! We know, the excitement is almost uncontrollable especially after checking out some of the pieces in Target's look book.

Let's just say, the collection is print heavy: coats, short shorts, tunics, dresses, and swimsuits covered with copious amounts of bold flowers. Admittedly, it's going to be way too cold where you are to wear the majority of Thakoon's sexy librarian duds anytime soon.

But if you get near a hot tub this winter, the cheerful swimsuits would be ideal. And the rest of the pieces, well, you'll have at least three months to construct the perfect outfits in your head. Plus, thinking of warm beaches and sunny skies while you sit inside your car that takes twenty minutes to defrost isn't such a bad thing.

I've seen pics of the line on another site (sorry!) and even though the pieces are kind of summer-y, you can "fall them up" with a great cardigan or blazer and tall boot or booties. And Target is great because you can also get great shoes for an equally fabulously frugal price to go with the great clothes. Check Thakoon's Spring/Summer 2008. A couple of the pieces in the Target line look almost exactly like a couple of dresses in Thakoon's spring line. This may be a good thing to some (since you can get the look for so cheap), but may make others (like me) wonder.

i lovvvveeee this collection with my whole soul!! omggg
who cares if its summery i loove every piece. it is a bit odd though. i think thakoon is never in the correct season, but who doesnt wish for what they cant have. summer or winter..
