Kelly Clarkson straight bob - Your weekly Hair How To Video
Filed under: Cuts & Style, Hair, News
Ever since Kelly Clarkson hit the scene on American Idol, we've been following her hairstyles.
At first her chunky streaks took the nation by storm. Highlights and low-lights have evolved a bit since then, and she's found a flattering honey blond that workds wonderfully with her skin tone. She's been known to pair it with one of our favorite looks of all time, theshiny, sexy, smooth bob.
If you're also a fan of this sassy look, this week we're sharing a tutorial on the products, tools and technique to for you to keep your bob shiny and bouncy at home.
Our star this week is cutie Aubrey, from Fafinettex3. Aubrey chopped off her long locks to make life easier. Now it's much faster for her to do her 'do in the morning. Plus, the kicky chin length style totally suits her petite features.
Aubrey uses the T3 ceramic mini flat iron, which as you will see in the video, is super easy to maneuver. She's aslso a big fan of the CIBU product line.
She starts by washing and conditioning her hair with CIBU Shang Hai hair volumizing shampoo and conditioner. For product she uses CIBU Sashini Thermal Shine Solution, CIBU Oso Shimmer Smoothing Solution, and finally CIBU Shang Hai volumizing mousse.
The steps are simple, and with hair that is shoulder length or shorter, you'll be done in no time flat. In fact, you are just five minutes away from a bouncing and behaving bob!

My hair is so long I can tuck it into my pants and I use a reagular iron---the same one I use on my clothes. I wash it, spray on some VO5 Detangle & Shine Restoring Leavin-In Conditioner ($4) to give it some slip, dry it, then iron it. Finally I spray more of my VO5 detanlge stuff onto my paddle hair brush and brush it through my hair. Talk about super shiny!
If you spray your shine spray on your hair brush and brush it though your hair, you avoid applying too much and looking oily.
