A mighty shift has taken place in the fashion industry: 90s supermodels are taking away all of the major high paying jobs from the new blood. All of them.

It's gotten so bad that if an agency has a really good girl they may very well skip the runway all together, and start booking her jobs straight out of the gate. In the past, if models didn't book those choice shows during Fashion Week her career was over with it just as soon as it began. However, a strut down Prada's or Balenciaga's runway doesn't mean a campaign is coming and, more often than not, it doesn't.

Case in point: while there were handful of girls who consistently received buzz after each fashion capital they left this past September, none of them will probably end up having a season like Claudia Schiffer. The sexy 40-something scored Ferragamo, YSL, and Dolce & Gabanna Spring '09 campaigns. Eat you heart out waif-like children women!
