Earlier this month we brought you the cockles warming story of Sarah Burge, an English woman who had spent over $1 million on surgical procedures in her quest to become a living Barbie doll. Ms. Burge had also recently wrestled the Guinness World Record for most surgical procedures from American Cindy Jackson. Or so we thought.

Today we received a comment on the Sarah Burge post telling us:

Yes! A live comminque from the America's Plastic Surgery Sweetheart! And we're happy to take her word for it.

It was silly of us, really, to doubt Ms. Jackson's dedication to her crown. Anyone who had already expended as much energy as she has to this super-meaningful title would never let a pretender like Ms. Bruge just stroll in from nowhere and reap all the glory and adoration.

Our sincere apologies to Ms. Jackson for any pain this confusion may have caused to her. In the future we will endeavor to be more accurate in matters pertaining to world records and bragging rights.
