Lego Models Rock JC/DC's Runway Show - Plastic Fantastic

As we've seen with Lego's awesome anniversary edition celebrity figurines, many things in life (Amy Winehouse for instance) are way cooler in LEGO form. Well, apparently experimental French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac took that idea and ran with it. He teamed up with France's 4-H and The Lego Group to debut his Spring/Summer collection on the virtual stage. We think it's possibly the most fascinating runway show we've ever seen.
What an awesome idea: skip the hassle of trying to put on a conventional runway show that will impress snobby fashion types, selecting just the right lineup of not too skinny, multi-ethnic models, and pay for a bunch of free booze. Not to mention, you don't have to worry about Sacha Cohen crashing your show. Let those cute little Lego men and women do all the work.
Sure it has its limitations: i.e. you really can't tell how the clothing would fit/look on a real live human being -- but for a avant garde designer like Castlebajac, it's perfect. We think we even spotted Anna Wintour among the attendants at about 2:27 in the video. Guess that kinda makes it a success.
