Ballet Flats, Clearly Labeled, by Slow and Steady Wins the Race.
For those of us who have trouble locating our shoes, New York designers Slow and Steady Wins the Race can help. Their canvas ballet flats are clearly labeled, so there's no more confusing your stilettos or wedges with these heel-free wardrobe staples. If we suffered some sort of Oliver Sacks-worthy brain injury that made it impossible to distinguish objects from one another, these might come in handy. Otherwise, we can't decide if this is a cheeky, contemporary art-inspired inside joke...or simply silly.
Evidence to the former: Slow and Steady Wins The Race is all about experimentation and sustainability, and they only produce 100 pieces of each design they come up with. So, in a way, this is wearable art. (And according to the customer reviews on Revolve Clothing, very comfortable art at that.)
