A Keyboard for Blondes
Filed under: Accessories, Fashion, News, Designers & Brands

You're gonna love this. I'm a brunette, and I love it. Perhaps I love it more for that very reason. The bubble-gum pink keyboard you see above has keys such as "Yes! I Want It!" instead of enter/return and "WARNING: SIZE XXL LETTERS" instead of caps lock.
And such as.
Elle Woods would surely be delighted to add this to her collection of Pepto Bismol colored accessories, and we could also see Bridget Marquardt rockin' this in the Playboy Mansion. How about your best friend?
The space bar says "The Big One: I need my space key" and the shift keys say "Smart Blonde Button" and "Very Smart Blonde Button." There is a special key to input "OMG" and the row of function keys at the top spells out "U S E L E S S K E Y S." The delete key says "Oops!" and the esc key says a definitive "NO!"
We find this hysterical, and a very fashionable gift to give this year. Get one here for $49.95 and make sure to click the Totally Useless Key!

Wow. Oh, yes please sign me up for this "OMG!! Like, totally, ASAP." How low can retailers and mastermind marketing specialists stoop this season? Apparently to all new lows. As if bleach blonde stars who pretend to be dumb (and true blondes) haven't given all blondes a bad enough name already. I don't find it cute or funny, and frankly am sick and tired of "harmless" jokes. How would the general public react to a keyboard for blacks, hispanics, the obese, etc. With marketing lines like "Obama could totally rock this in the White House." Get a clue. People would HAVE to be dumb to waste 49.95 (plus tax and shipping I'd assume) on such a sub par idea.

I find this offensive. Why is making fun of blondes acceptable? Because the "dumb" blondes are really just bleached brunettes unhappy with their appearance and who buy into the stereotype and then further it by becoming it? This is a horrible product and I do not find it funny at all.

@jane
are you offended by product or by stereotype? i didn't find anything on keyboard saying "dumb blonde". did you? as far as i am concerned, blondes have more fun - and that's a good example. i am so buying it!
