Despite the fact that her stint as a Spice Girl is what made Victoria Beckham famous, she insists that, in terms of her fashion career, it's done more harm than good.

"Being in the Spice Girls, fashion-wise probably didn't open any doors," she says, adding, "If anything it shut doors and I've had to bang them down." Good thing she has so much experience to draw upon for her dvb dress line, right?

She doesn't actually draw her designs ("nor do lots of designers," according to Posh), but she's very hands on, telling the London Times, "... I know how a dress should sit. I've worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, 'Crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough.'"

Hate to break it to you, Posh, but that's not the only reason your chin rests on your breasts.

Anyway, her 10 dress line is hitting the shelves at Selfridges today, and throughout the entire process, she's remained insistent upon sticking to luxury and quality. And, she isn't worried about how the four-figure price tag will go over in today's economy, rationalizing, "... [W]omen are looking for something that will be an investment, aren't they?"
