Hooray: Designers begin to lower their prices

Why, hello bargain shopper! We've got a surprise for you. OK, we literally don't have an exceptionally spectacular gift waiting for you, but you'll love us none the less after procuring you to this minor but important proclamation:The makers of those all-important seasonal luxury-goods are cutting their sky-high prices on apparel, shoes, and handbags in the U.S. markets. That's right! The credit cards will finally gift some much-needed relief this holiday season. Don't go flooding Barneys just yet, though.
The price cuts, which range from 8% to 10%, are pretty measly considering those studded Christian Louboutin knee-high boots or Matthew Williamson bohemian mini skirt usually flaunt price tags in the thousands.
At any rate, this is fabulous news. Especially for those who can afford to get excited.

Oh, please! I've been getting bigger discounts on high end fashion for several years now. If you had written about 75+% discounts, then I'd be really excited - that's the kind of discount I'm used to and expect now.
Psst! Come 'ere? Wanna know my secret? Factory shops and outlet centres that sell production samples! ;)
I've got a closet full of shirts and pants that I didn't pay more than $45 each for. And, I usually payed less than that. Some of these items would have retailed for nearly $350 each. And, $500+ jackets I can easily get for around $100 or less.
I'm talking about menswear though. I know some women that would consider a $350 skirt to be very inexpensive.
