Members Only Launches Denim Line - Ladies Only
Filed under: Vintage and Retro, Must Haves, Fashion, Designers & Brands
When it comes to articles of clothing that define the awesome eighties, the Members Only jacket absolutely must be on the short list. Just the name alone signifies the 'too cool for school' attitude that we associate with Generation X. Since its resurrection last year, Members only has been working its magic with a re-issued jacket. Now, they're hoping to build on that success with the launch of a denim line. When we first saw the headline that the Members Only label was diving into the jeans business, we were super excited. Then we realized that the elite and super nostalgic brand is only producing jeans for women, and we we're slightly less pumped.
Still, just the thought of resurrecting the greatness that once was Members Only has got our attention. Even though the label's only real claim to fame was their awesome nylon jackets, those jackets were so cool that they're giving Member's only another chance at life.
The label was resuscitated by a company called Designer License Holding Co -- who also owns Earl Jeans and Bill Blass. After the popularity of their modernized nylon jackets and "liquid leggings," their parent company has decided to take a chance on the brand.
The new designer jeans -- mostly skinny -- will be sold at high end retailers like Nordstrom, Intermix, and Kitson. They're actually quite affordable, selling for about $75.

I've seen the whole range of these jeans and up close they are truly amazing.... they will be the next big thing in the denim world for sure!
They have such variety and such unique styles that no one else has even come close to and more importantly they have done in with such precision- the jeans are the hottest thing on the celebrity stylist list at the moment.
