Timex is one of the names you recognize instantly, "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!" My mother wore a Timex watch for years working as a nurse and my first watch was a Timex when I was six. If I were to win one of the watches I would give it to my little sister Cheryl. She is my Mother's caregiver and I admire her fortitude and grace in this most difficult job. My Mother has Alzheimer's disease and Cheryl has been with her throughout this trial and has not waivered. She has not left my Mother despite working full time, losing her boyfriend of 8 years, and keeping up with my Mother's ever progressing disease. We know my Mother will not win this battle but Cheryl has given her the opportunity to remain at home and pass away with as much dignity as she can possible. I cannot fathom how much time Cheryl has given to my Mother or how much of her life she has willingly sacraficed but I know that she deserves much and I would love to give her this beautiful Timex watch.
Thank you

Timex is one of the names you recognize instantly, "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!" If I win a Timex watch, I would give it to my daughter. She is an elementary teacher and deserves the watch-a very reliable watch. I continue to wear a twenty-five year old Timex. Thank you for making this offer to a long-time wearer of my faithful Timex.

As a stay at home mom on a budget, I don't really buy myself much of anything these days. Timex is a great watch for everyday and would go with anything I wear -- even if it's jeans and a sweater most of the time. Especially when I'm 'on the go' -- which happens to be most of the time!!

I'd give this to my sister, who broke her watch years ago and still hasn't got a new one. I know she'd love it!

I would give this beautiful watch to my Aunt. She just lost her husband to cancer and believes she doesn't deserve anything except to follow him in death. Although we've gotten her into grief counseling, she's still in a deep depression and I would hope this watch would show her that those who care about her believe she is valuable and has purpose here with us.

I would give this watch to my daughter. She is a full-time student raising three kids, alone. She seldom gets nice things and this would make a wonder Christmas present for her.

I would give this watch to my niece. She is a divorced mother of two little girls. She works very hard in spite of her own chronic illness. This watch would be a symbol that time is hers to do with what she can, but also to enjoy, embrace and share with others. Timex watches have always been a part of our family tradition- our first watches or to symbolize important occasions. My mother, who is over 90, still wears a Timex.

I'd give this to my mother-in-law. she tends to spend on others than herself, so I think she deserves to have something nice for a change.

I would give this watch to my mom. She is into gold and I am into silver. She has been a great mom and a wonderful grandma. She has helped me so much with my son who was born with a heart defect. She was really there to support me and my son when I was finishing my bachelor's degree after his birth. She has always been there for me and this would be a perfect reminder of my love and appreciation to her.

I would give this to my sister. We weren't really close when we were teens but now that we are both mothers we spend a lot of time talking on the phone talking about our kids. Things can get pretty crazy when you're a first time mom...like losing track of what DAY it is, not to mention what TIME it is.

I love this watch because it really is a classic and I'd keep it for myself because it is so beautiful. I can really see wearing it 10 or 15 years from now because it would still look great.
Best of all the band looks bulletproof!I definitely need well-made jewelry because jewelry has this strange habit of flying off my body. So far this year I've had a necklace fly off at the mall (one of those open clasps), my bracelet flew off my wrist twice at my husband's holiday party this weekend (broken link) and my vintage wedding ring is currently hiding under the seat in our car. So as you can see I really appreciate well-made jewelry that stays put! :)
