Have you heard of Eve Lom? Vogue has, and they called the Cleanser from the Eve Lom Skin Care line "probably the best cleanser in the world." And seriously, if it's good enough to impress Vogue, it's pretty much perfect for us.

Eve Lom, born in Czechoslovakia and currently based in London, has been called the Queen of Cleansing. Her studies have included anatomy, nutrition, a number of massage techniques, as well as accupuncture in China. Only after familiarizing herself with all of these aspects of health and beauty did Eve establish her salon and develop her skincare range, which quickly achieved cult status.

Her philosophy is essentially "less is more." We do too much to our skin -- using make up to hide flaws, then removing make up (along with our skin's oil), then using moisturizers and treatments to fix the damage before starting all over again. If you start with fabulous skin, the entire cycle is minimized.

Currently, there are 11 products in the line, although the Cleanser is by far the main attraction. It's not inexpensive -- you're looking at $95 for 100ml of the Cleanser, but it's long-lasting, and it works.
