Filed under: Cuts & Style, Fashion, Beauty, Hair, Makeup, How to Wear, Stylish Living
What girl doesn't want to try the Marilyn Monroe pin curl at least once in her life? The holiday's are the perfect time to test this style that is as sassy as it is innocent. Here's how to get Marilyn's wildy popular look in three easy steps.
You will need:
Curl spray
Hair pins
A curling iron (optional)
How to:
1. Spray curling spray onto hair and brush through from roots to tips.
2. If you are using a curling iron, dry hair thoroughly. Then twist iron around a section of hair and pin the curl.
3. Wait about an hour and lightly shake the curls loose.
*If you want to do it sans curling iron to spare your hair, wait until hair is about 80% dry and use fingers instead of an iron to pin curl.
