When you're baking by yourself, it's no big deal to wear an old tee and sweats, but when you're finishing up in the kitchen for a dinner party (or a date!), and your guests have already arrived, it's a different matter entirely. You want to have on something cute, but you don't want it to be covered in splattered sauce. But, you don't want to cover it up with something lame. And that's why we wear cute kitchen aprons.

A recent find in kitchen couture is Tayga, which offers flattering styles in fun, reversible colors and patterns. What we love is that they provide plenty of coverage, keeping your clothes clean, but are still flirty and feminine, with a halter neckline and many with defined waistlines.

Of course, you could also try wearing just this with a pair of heels for a special date at home ... we just wouldn't recommend anything with hot oil. You know, just in case.
