Much like a mythic phoenix, UK label Dr. Martens has risen from the ashes, making itself just as relevant today in fashion as it was in the 90s when the arbiters of grunge dictated what was in and out in fashion.

To keep the company hip in '09, Dr. Martens has teamed up with designers like Jimmy Choo, Lulu Guinness, and Vivienne Westwood, just to name a few, to remix its classic 1460 boot. Unfortunately, none of the 69 designs will be available for purchase to us regular folks. However, Dr. Martens has created a special 1460 site that features high resolution images of all of the funky designs.

In the meantime, those interested in purchasing a pair of 1460 boots that weren't blessed by the likes of Preen, can find them at Dr. Martens online store.
