Although it was definitely a tossup, with plenty to see – actually one of the most exciting carpets we've seen in years – Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto's Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown was crowned our "Best Dressed" winner this year.

She rocked current trends hard – from the origami folds in her gown to her boxy Judith Leiber clutch. But we think it was the hue that really set this look apart. Such a toughie to wear but perfectly pulled off by the bronzed Freida.
