United Bamboo with Terrence Koh

United Bamboo
co-designers Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham selected artist Terrence Koh to appear in the brand's Spring 2009 men's wear campaign. The ads will premiere in Fantastic Man's Spring/Summer 2009 issue in March. We've got these top secret outtakes as shot by photographer Marcelo Krasilcic, with set design by Confetti System.

Some conservative geezers have objected to Koh's explicit work based on elements of graphic sexuality, but we think he's way outta sight. Charles Saatchi and Whitney Museum have our back on this one. Plus, Koh was short-listed for the prestigious Sobey Award last year. In the end, we know there's load of folks who'd rather see a compelling artist featured over the typical Hollywood zombie. Considering UB takes its name from Japanese gangsters, we gotta figure their front man should have street cred.
