Will Sheans Ever Catch On?

Sebastian Errazuriz's jeans/pantsAs you may have noticed, we're total suckers for playful, creative designs, and we're pretty sure that Sebastian Errazuriz's crazy Chuck Taylor pants with soles qualify. This may not be the first time someone's come up with the idea of designing pants that connect with your shoes -- but these are the ones we hope that Converse picks up on for their next collaboration with Target. Plus, we just like the fact that they fit with Errazuriz's entire collection of super-clever fashions.

In the grand tradition of smashing two words together to form a new one -- as is done with "jorts" (jean shorts) -- we're dubbing this new form of clothing "sheans."

Sebastian's other innovative designs include a dress made out of gloves, a coat made from teddy bears, and an umbrella that doubles as a putter. Perhaps its more appropriate to refer to Sebastian as a modern artist, rather than just a fashion designer, but his pieces are definitely more creative than those of some A-list designers (a shoe that doubles as a doorstop, please).
