5 Famous Sets of Eyebrows
"The angularity of Obama's brows was lending a look of intensity that some pundits, such as Bill O'Reilly, construed as anger or severity on the campaign trail," wrote Wendy Donahue in this week's Chicago Tribune. Donahue and others have noted a softer shape to Obama's eyebrows in recent weeks -- perhaps a response to that criticism.

Liz Taylor's lush brows were always expertly tweezed and trimmed, and at the time, her low arch and tapered line was considered the height of glamor. To get a similar look, use an eyebrow pencil to create a rounded, square shape at the beginning of the brow, (very) slightly overdraw your own natural line, and extend the ends with tiny strokes by a centimeter or two.

"High School Musical" star Zac Efron's bushy eyebrows are always stringently maintained, likely inspiring other men to learn how to use a new tool: the tweezers. Still, not everyone appreciates his hirsute look. (There's even a Facebook group called "Zac Efron's Eyebrows Are Disturbing.")

Burlesque star Dita von Teese's eyebrows are as theatrically vintage as the rest of her pin-up girl accoutrements. The siren is never seen with a hair out of place. And really, only a perfectionist could consistently achieve her movie-screen-perfect brows.

Brooke Shields' eyebrows have become almost as famous as the actress. When the future Calvin Klein model became a young star in the 1980s, her wildly untamed brows helped sparked the thick, bold look that became de rigeur during the decade, and propelled her to icon status.

I cannot stand M Obama, I cannot believe the masses drank the koolaid and believed this woman and her husband actually believe in equality. They attended a racist, hate filled church for 20 years, even had the racist campaigning for him and when it got out about the church, denied knowing the man. And the idiot filled country fell for it, "UUMMM, Ok, if you say so Obama." Bunch of dumb*sses.

Stella,
People like you scare me. It's your stubborn ignorance that makes you such a short and cheated person.
I, however, will still pray for you. You probably need it.
Evelyn 2-15-2009 @ 4:58PM
My dear Stella, it's time to get own with your narrow way of
thinking...why not replace your "dislikes" with well wishes and
prayers for our president and his family...
Please, don't let the very successful Commander-in-Chief
and his lovely wife effect you in a negative way...
Peace and Blessings for country!

We are in sad shape when people are concerned about someone's eyebrows. I'm not necessarily an Obama fan, but come on now, how important should this be??

HAD THE OCCASION TO WATCH A HOCKEY GAME THE OTHER DAY. WONDER OF WONDERS NOT A BLACK PERSON ON THE ICE. HMMMMMMMMMM, IMAGIN THAT WILL CHANGE. COURSE HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT HOCKEY PLAYERS KILLING DOGS. FIGHTING WITH LAW OFFICERS AFTER BEING STOPPED FOR DUI, OR GETTING CAUGHT WITH A TRUNK FULL OF GRASS OR COCAIN. YES THEY DO FIGHT, PART OF THE GAME AS IT IS, BUT AT LEAST THEY ARE NOT CARRING A BLADE OR GUN, AND THEY DO NOT DO A AFRICAN DANCE AFTER EACH GOAL. iS THAT ABOUT TO CHANGE AFTER jAN.20TH?

Stella,
Let it go, Your just an unhappy person who now feels lost because of the New President and his Beautiful Family.
You should drink the koolaid yourself and maybe the racism will subside in you. However I want to wish you the best of luck working the hate out of your life. You don't even know Michelle Obama and she has caused you pain and discomfort, ask yourself WHY? Because she is black and your first lady.
Honey Just get over it. and don't make stupid statements for all to see, It just makes you look like the bigot you are.

Finally a study about the issues that truly affect the human condition. Ive been saying for decades that people need to be aware of the ongoing, global Eyebrow crisis facing this planet and now stylelist was brave enough to print this groundbreaking article. surely the first of hundreds to follow, this piece is a bold journalistic achievement, rarely seen in today's throwaway media-led, fly-by-night, pointless drivel-based trash that can so often be confused as journalism. i can say without a shred of uncertainty, that this is a Pulitzer prize winning article. My life and the life of countless others will be more complete based solely on the fact that this article was written, god bless styleList and may god have mercy on all our souls...EXCELCIOR!!!! O'Reily is just another old ass white man who again knows nothing about Black women and style. And for the rest of you haters, get over it, we have a Black PRESIDENT and Black family in the WHITE house. The world is changing and either you can stay in your deep depression in misery and remember "when," or get on board for a new America. :).

I have absolutely no problem with having a black man as my president. I do, however, have a problem with him using my tax dollars to fund abortions abroad. He doesn't support what America was founded on- God. I'm not talking religion, I'm talking about morals. Think for a minute, what kind of world will we live in (what AMERICA will we live in for that matter) if one of the FIRST things our new President does is abort innocent children? What next? I'm scared to know the answer... I pray for him to have wisdom in guiding this great country of ours.

Hey smartass. Obama is not BLACK. He is BI-RACIAL. His mama was still white! Sorry, but there still is not a BLACK man in the White house.
Rey 1-26-2009 @ 10:19PM
hey brad you're a jackass
what do hockey players have to do with anything?! how do you begin to compare only white hockey players to black men? you basically stated that only black people commit such acts of crime...I hope you don't teach others around you to be as bigoted as you..and by the way i wonder if you actually know what an "african dance" is. I think you are just angry that we have a black president. Get Over It.
The article is about eyebrows anyway

Now, Now.......Look at her!......Look at those brows!
How lucky are we to have a first lady at the White House for the very first time with great eye brows. I wonder.... when another 911 happens if she raises those magnificent brows, will the terriost just give them self up or maybe she can do it before it happens and they will be so scared that they raise there white flags. I know you think I am a raciest. But the one I wanted in the White house is
Condella Rice, now she' a great Woman and yea she is black. But a least she is proud of America and always has been. She is not a raciest, and EVERBODY KNOWS THAT THE OBAMA'S ARE RACIEST. They went to the church of racism for 20 yrs. Isn't it funny how people can overlook that part, all they see is a black man and woman running for president and everything else just fades away. A couple of very well know radio talk show host went to the Bronx and was interviewing, at random people there. Asking who they were voting for president, 99% picked Obama. But there was a twist. They switched what Obama stood for with John MaCain's views even the running mates and everyone thought that "PAYLIN" would make a great vice president and they are standing behind Obama 100%. This was very sad. It makes me sad that the first Black family in our white house, is nothing but a joke. But what makes it worse is that people's igronance put him there just because he looks more black than white, and he is half white!!!!!!!! In an audio message posted on the web Wednesday purported to be from Al Qaeda leader Ayaman al-Zawahiri, he called President-elect Barack Obama a “house slave” while criticizing his proposed policies in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Al-Zawahiri is the organization’s No.2 leader. During the message, which lasted 11 minutes and 23 seconds, the speaker also contrasted Obama with Black Muslim leader Malcolm X, calling him the “direct opposite of honorable Black Americans” like Malcolm. He went on to say that Obama along with Colin Powell can be categorized as “house slaves,” by Malcolm X’s description. The message included old clips from Malcolm X’s speeches." The speaker went on to paint a gloomy picture for Obama. “You have reached the position of president, and a heavy legacy of failure and crimes awaits you,” he said. “A failure in Iraq to which you have admitted", and a failure in Afghanistan to which the commanders of your army have admitted,” he said. He also said Obama’s plan to move more troops into Afghanistan “is a policy which was destined for failure before it was born.” The leader talked about Obama’s Muslim father and Obama’s current faith, Christianity. “You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand in the ranks of the enemies of the Muslims…And so you promised to back Israel, and you threatened to strike the tribal regions in Pakistan, and to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan, in order for the crimes of the American crusade to continue.” Officials have not confirmed the tape’s authenticity. Both Al-Zawahiri and Osama Bin Laden are believed to be hiding in Pakistan. THIS IS WHAT SCARES ME!!!! WE ARE IN TROUBLE!!!

Michelle Obama has a college degree from Princeton and a law degree from Harvard and the only thing people can discuss is her eyebrows and clothes. She is a highly educated and intellegent woman that can contribute greatly to this country. This country is going to hell in a handbasket and taking the people with it. Everyone that is obsessed with Michelle Obama's apprearance should get a life and do something positive for this country.

I don't think you would care if he sold this country.you would be ok with it just because he black. and I would bet you never cared one bit about who was president before..talk about being a racist.and also who ever tried to stop a black man from running for president ??? I will tell you No one.

I'm tired of people crying about a black president specially since we don't have a black president. We have a half black half white president. Get it right. If you want a black president then get one.
Sadly enough with all the greed filling up America's politicians we have to do with what we get. Since being at the bottom, all we can do now is go up. Get to the place where we once were, America loved by all countries.
We live in a great country and should be grateful for that. After watching the news, not everybody can say that. We should be united, like after 911 not divided, like we have been since the Iraq war begun. I don't care what color a man is. What he does is what's important to me.

Riss please abortion is just an excuse people use as a smoke screen. It is a fact abortion has increased over the last 8 years while Bush was in office anyone that cares to know, knows abortion is not solely determined by the President if it were Bush should/would have eliminated abortions while he was in office; he had 8 long years to accomplish this.
The media will always play on trivial things when it comes to Michelle Obama because she has only one baby daddy, married to him while being in shape, educated and poised.

My question is....why doesn't he say he is mulatto..He is! He is half white and half black, that makes a mulatto. Nothing wrong with that except that he doesn't say he is..why? Is it because if he goes totally black he'd get all the black votes (which he did)
Shame on you Obama for denouncing your white heritage. Your white mother and WHITE Grandmother brought you up..mention it, don't call yourself black!!!!
