Paris-based designer Rick Owens' taste for all things dark, petulant and gloomy is usually fine by us. Until now.

Most of the models in the designer's Spring 2009 show, held this weekend in Paris, sported shiny, sexy, shoulder-length locks. Then there was this guy.

Owens' iconoclastic style has never made him much of a trendsetter -- and in this isolated case, that's a huge relief to us. The whole skulls-on-parade, pasty fivehead look strikes us as more atrocious than avant garde.

In fact, this kind of reminds us of that awful AXE Body Spray commercial on the air right now, where super-hot male models don ugly wigs and find that, alas, no one thinks they're very pretty anymore.
