Once again, we bring you the product review that counts: We actually put the stuff on our faces and take pictures. CoverGirl's New Lashblast Luxe Mascara first caught our eye (lashes) when we saw the colors: Black Emerald, Black Platinum, Black Cabernet, and Black Royale. Compare and contrast, anyone?

The difference between LashBlast and Lashblast Luxe is that the Luxe colors are all sparkly. We couldn't wait to try out the different shades. Every single one has a delicate shimmer, and the mascara itself is lightweight and non-clumpy. The applicator brush is big and easy to use. It's not a waterproof mascara, but it does claim to be "smudge and smear proof" due to a "dual polymer system" that we're sure means something to somebody. The Black Royale color apparently has a blue tint. Our guess is that it's just as subtle as these other ones. And now go get it at the drugstore. Seriously. We like. Thanks, CoverGirl!
