Everyone says they love film but wanna know how many pro photographers shoot film (rather than digital photography or image capture systems)? Or how many magazines that run film photography?

Of the 12 remaining film photographers in New York City, a significant percentage revere the Lomographic Society. Now, the only domestic flagship to find all the goods, from cameras to bags, books or film, and everything Lomo related, has a perm home at 41 West 8th St, NYC. In terms of cameras, there's refurbished vintage models and the full catalog of Supersampler, Actionsampler, Diana F+, Oktomat, Pop 9, Holga and Lomo LC-A.

Sure, film is still relevant in fine art (well, as relevant as fine art is today, which is to say hardly, ha!). But film photography has not been forgotten by The Lomographic Society or its dedicated, global audience of foto and photo artists.

The wall art shown in these images is a custom installation of 35,00 prints from submissions around the world. Corresponding to the opening of the Lomo flagship in New York, the four MoMA Design stores around New York have similar LomoWall installations to share the feeling of real film prints.
