New Tanning Booths Save Energy; Still Damage Your Skin
Hollywood Tans is introducing a tanning bed that produces 30% less energy than its counterparts. They also produce less heat, according to the company.
"People are concerned about the environment and that has inspired companies to rethink the way they do business," said Lewis Shender, President of Hollywood Tans, LLC. "These new booths are a part of that. They combine the best of new and existing technology to improve tanning results, reduce energy usage, and reinforce Hollywood Tans' position as a leader in the industry."
Other new features include a special MP3/iPOD jack and a cooling body fan.
No word yet on how to make the tanning bed experience more "epidermis-friendly." After all, all tanning booths (eco-friendly or not) are widely known to cause premature aging and skin damage. So not hot. Agree? Then read this great rant.
