Huge Lips, Skinny Hips - New Appetite Surpressing Lip Gloss
Filed under: Beauty, News, Makeup
Ever found yourself at a party, practically stalking the waiter with the hors d'oeuvres tray? If your answer is "yes," then Huge Lips, Skinny Hips Lip Plumper is for you. And if your answer is "no," you're totally lying. The secret to this tasty lip-plumping gloss is 10% Hoodia Gordoni extract, a natural appetite suppressant extracted from cactus-like plants in South Africa and Nambia. Used for centuries by the locals for its hunger curbing abilities, Hoodia has more recently made its way into pills to decrease hunger. Hoodia works by mimicking the effects of glucose on the brain, tricking it into thinking you've just eaten.

Skinny Makeup: Slenderize Your Face
Ever asked yourself the question: Does this lipstick make me look fat? Well, apparently you should be. Your favorite lipstick shade can actually add weight to your face.
"Dark, solid lipsticks can decrease the size of the lips, making the jaw line and lower half of your face look fuller if you already have a round face," says Jane Iredale Makeup Artist Kevin Mendelson. Instead, opt for light to medium glossy shades for fuller lips that better balance out and slenderize your face.
Here, we've got more tips from expert makeup artists on easy ways to shave pounds off your face.

Neatly tweezed and softly arched eyebrows "give definition to the face, making it look less full and round," says celeb makeup artist Nick Barose. Once you've shaped your brows, brush the hair up and outwards with clear mascara, and fill in sparse spots if necessary with a pencil one shade lighter than your hair color.

Conceal A Double Chin
Apply a shade three tones deeper than your skin color under your entire chin, stopping just below your jaw line and blending completely into your neck. The darker shade creates the illusion of depth and hides a double chin, says Jamie Kern Lima, co-founder of It Cosmetics. For more advanced contouring tricks, try My Sculpted Face Palette, which comes with detailed directions.

The No-Surgery Nose Job
A large or full nose can make anyone look heavier, especially in portrait photos. Cheat definition by blending a deeper contour color along the sides of your nose and highlighting down the center with a lighter shade, says New York Makeup Artist Laura Geller. Try Laura Geller Shade-N-Sculpt.

Lift With Mascara
You can fake a mini eyelift by first curling your lashes and then applying your favorite mascara to the ends of lashes with the tip of the wand pointed upwards, says Stila Celebrity Makeup Artist Sarah Lucero. This handy little trick creates the illusion of a lift and elongates the face.

Slenderize With Bronzer
Quick blending with a fluffy blush brush can sculpt a face with slimming definition in seconds. "Apply a neutral tan powder along your cheek bones, up to the temples and into the hairline, and along the jaw line to create dimension," advises Alphonse Weibelt, VP of Brand Development at BeingTRUE. Try BeingTRUE Protective Mineral Foundation.

Make Your Lips Pop
A savvy way to draw attention away from a full neck or cheeks is to accentuate your lips. Try this celeb-loved trick. Lightly line your lips, add a pretty medium shade, and then apply light shimmer powder to your Cupid's Bow (the "v" part of your upper lip) and a dab to the center of your lips, says Achelle Dunaway of e.l.f. Cosmetics.

Avoid Smoky Eyes
Deep, shadowy layers of color set eyes closer together, which exacerbates the look of a full face, says Jane Iredale Makeup Artist Kevin Mendelson. Instead, opt for a "cleaner" look with an emphasis on mascara and subtle eyeliner for definition in order to better balance your face.

Highlight Your Center Face
To take the contouring tips to another level, contrast the deeper shades you've outlined your face in with a highlighted center face for a fully chiseled look. Sweep a light shimmer powder over your upper cheek bones, brow bones and the inner corners of your eyes, suggests Cameron Vaught, Lead Makeup Artist of theBalm. Try TheBalm Overshadow in No Money No Honey.

Apply Blush The Right Way
"Women usually apply blush in the wrong place. Think of blush as a bustier – it should push the girls – or your cheekbones – up!" says Michael Marcus of Michael Marcus Cosmetics. For a lifting contour, line your brush up with your pupil, then position it right on the apple of your cheek and apply color going straight back to the center of your ear.

Fittingly, Karen Robinovitz, a New York-based journalist and the brains behind Huge Lips Skinny Hips, came up with the idea at a fashion week party. "I was the person standing where the food was coming out so I could get first dibs on the treats. I thought to myself - my pants are already a size to small, yet here I am...I wish I had a lip gloss that would curb my appetite." When Robinovitz exclaimed that she should call her friends in the beauty industry to get them to make this product, her enterprising husband replied. "Um, no - you need to make this gloss." And Huge Lips, Skinny Hips was born.
The paraben-free gloss also features Meadow Foam to bind moisture to the skin and Lemon Peel Oil to cool and soothe. And Vitamin B3 stimulates blood flow to the lip surface, filling in wrinkles and plumping without stinging or burning. This isn't a gimmick to stop women from eating, but a way to be "more conscious, not mindlessly shoving food down throat," said Robinovitz. And no worries, food won't mess up your shiny, full lips.
The collection includes six yummy glosses, ranging from sheer clear to sultry red, inspired by Robinovitz's favorite icons and philosophies: Red Sole Worship, Kate Kitty, Poledancer, Lychee Martini, Love Your Thighs, No Panty Lines.

It is true that losing weight should start with proper nutrition and exercice but you also have to understand that a lot of the natural nutrients are not in food anymore. With the years diets have changed (and I don't mean DIETS) I mean the general eating habits. We don't eat as healthy as we used to eat and we don't get the proper nutrition from the food we eat therefore we are not healthy. Now a days our only hope is to take a multi-vitamin pill in hopes that it will give us the nutrients our body needs to renew itself. Hoodia is been used for years to help curve appetite and seems to work fine.
A lot of the "so called food" we put in our mouths now a days is garbage, it does not have any kind of nutrition value, which is causing us to turn to different methods besides eating "healthy" and exercicing to adquire the body we want.

Personally I think diet pills are a waste of money; they shrink your wallet and not your waistline. The claims they make are total hype and nonsense. Multivitamins are worse, especially if they have over 100% rda of what your body needs, as your body will only take what it needs out of those things and the rest goes in the toilet. I lost 40 pounds several years ago the old fashioned way--portion control and exercise!

I wish there was a quick fix for weight loss. I have not found themagic pill or drink to make me thin or young yet! Weight loss unfortunately takes dedication, changing of habits and does not happen overnight...if it did everyone would be thin.
I eat healthy and work at it every day! I am a mother of 3 young girls, I want them to embrace their curves and be healthy.
I strive to eat healthy and lead by example. I eat flax every
morning. I have the same breakfast now every day. I recently lost 30
pounds following the weight watchers program and I now just am more
watchful every day of what I eat. I have a
banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every
day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous. I read
about it in O mag. They also listed a code to get 10% off. The site
is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 10% off is jm10

When i first heard about using the acai berry, i heard a heck of a lot of good things about it. It immediately gained my attention and I wanted to know more about it. So i did my research and continued to like what I was hearing. So then I decided to order some acai for myself and I am very glad that i did just that. Why? Because within just 2 days, I had much more energy and within 3 weeks I lost 14 pounds. It was incredible to me that I could use something so natural and so small, and lose THAT much weight. I’ve got to admit that I was hesitant about using it at first but i’m glad i tried it. http://acaiberry.favherbal.com

Am I the only one who noticed that the caption under the image of the gloss containers MUST be a typo???
Maybe I'll invent a chewing gum that enhances proof reading!

Haha... I'm DEFINITELY sure they missed THAT one!! Out of all of the grammatical/proofreading errors I have seen on the AOL articles, that one tops them all! I'm laughing so hard at this goof. Good eye for catching that, Jenna!

Unlike OctoMom, no one is going to "give" me any money..If you still have your job you are really lucky in this economy. I lost mine a few weeks ago. By visiting this website I was able to make about $135 the first week. The 2nd week I made about $275 and so far this week I am up to $576. I'm not getting rich but it helps supplement my income while I am looking for full time work and I can do it from home while home with my kids.
