I have always loved Hello Kitty and my two daughters have loved them as well. The oldest one, at 28, is a BIG Hello Kitty fan so my kids have grown up with Hello Kitty and I have enjoyed it with them. I would love to have some Hello Kitty for myself!!!

I love Hello Kitty because I remember the HK display Thalheimers had when I was a kid. My grandma let me pick one HK item to buy whenever we could.

Hello Kitty is simply adorable and just makes you smile. I think the appeal for little girls also is that she's pink and what girl doesn't like pink? My daughter just celebrated her fifth birthday party and had a Hello Kitty Dance Party. It was a blast! We decorated the house, literally everywhere, and even the boys and all the adults liked it.

"Strangely alluring" is a good way to put it... Maybe it's her charm. Maybe her fun vibe. Maybe because of the sweet, comfortable memories she brings to you the moment you see her. To me, Hello Kitty is the perfect depiction of happiness. Everything about her is positive, pretty, and pink, all three things which I believe my life embodies. Her message is especially important at this time of year around Valentine's Day when everyone believes they must have a special someone in order to be happy. Hello Kitty wants you to know that you are wonderful the way you are. You do not need to feel like you need another person to complete you. Embrace Valentine's Day and love everyone around you. Giving not only makes others around you feel like they are loved and special, but it will also bring you peace and happiness. The important thing is having fun on Valentine's Day, not feeling insecure and depressed if you do not have a date. Hello Kitty would say you were silly. :)

I would absolutely LOVE winning this beautiful necklace, and I would probably never take it off, but even if I do not win, I hope my message has reached at least one person and had a positive effect on them.
