Today's featured indie designer is jewelry artist Rose of MiscBeads. Rose creates wonderful beaded jewelry and her story proves that everyone has a little creative spark inside of them, just itching to get out.

How did you get started as a designer? I went to a free class at the library that taught how to make beaded bracelets. I made one, and I was hooked! I was given two colors of beads to take home from the class, and I kept making bracelet after bracelet out of those same two colors. Eventually, I ran out, so I started buying more and more beads.

What inspires your work? The beautiful colors and supplies I have to work with, and designing jewelry that people love. There are so many color combinations possible!

What are your top fashion & beauty must-haves? I like simple jewelry that goes with almost anything.

Any advice you would give to aspiring designers? Do what you love. It's hard for me to create something if I don't feel like it. If you're doing something you don't like, it might not last long. Also, don't be afraid to try and learn new techniques, it's worth it!
