Many designers pulled from the '80s for recent runway inspiration – Balmain, Chanel, and Pucci included. All of the mesh, gloves, sequins, tulle, corsets, and studded leather come directly from the garish decade; a time when a drugged up Madonna, Flock of Seagulls haircuts, and hydra glow t-shirts ruled the world.

And man, are we suckers for it. Although it was completely obnoxious at the time and still totally hideous, we couldn't help but smile when we opened up February's Elle to find a model wearing an exact Madonna circa 1980's ensemble, complete with Boy Toy belt.
