We are tired of winter. It's so over! (Well, not quite. It is only February, after all. How very sad!)

Thankfully, it is time to take a peek at designer's spring collections, and when our winter-weary eyes landed on Maria Pinto's spring collection we were instantly lifted out of our doldrums to a world of magenta and white ruffles splashed with sophisticated evening dresses in sparkly black. We could kiss her for continuing to take risks even after all the mainstream attention she's received thanks to her biggest fan, our first lady, Michelle Obama.

Our favorite pieces are fresh and fashion-forward, but eminently wearable. We predict a very good year for Maria!
