Maria Pinto Spring 2009 - We Love It!

We are tired of winter. It's so over! (Well, not quite. It is only February, after all. How very sad!) Thankfully, it is time to take a peek at designer's spring collections, and when our winter-weary eyes landed on Maria Pinto's spring collection we were instantly lifted out of our doldrums to a world of magenta and white ruffles splashed with sophisticated evening dresses in sparkly black. We could kiss her for continuing to take risks even after all the mainstream attention she's received thanks to her biggest fan, our first lady, Michelle Obama.
Our favorite pieces are fresh and fashion-forward, but eminently wearable. We predict a very good year for Maria!

Maria Pinto's fashions are fabulous...in November i did a Safia Jewelry trunk show at her store and am still waiting for my part of the payment, in which she is quoting "hard times" even though she collected the money for my jewels, i am still not getting paid. So though her fashions are fabulous, as a business woman she is not honorable.

I think it is outrageous that Maria Pinto is living the big life and not paying her bills!! I wanted to see her spring line and now I am totally turned off. SHAME ON HER.
