The Oscars was full, full of white dresses this year. Perhaps this is due to the recession; thrifty celebrity fashionistas hope to reuse their Oscar gowns as their next wedding dresses. We took a look at the dresses and marital statuses of several gorgeous offenders.

Can we really call them offenders? Probably not. They all looked beautiful, and gave us some great ideas for what we want to be wearing when we get hitched. Also, everyone seems to be in agreement that this is the best that Sarah Jessica Parker has ever looked. Ever. She positively glows in this Christian Dior dress with jewelry by Fred Leighton. The flowing hair and dress give her a softness and a youthfulness that Carrie Bradshaw was often missing.
