At Home Eyelift - Tip of the Day!
Filed under: Fashion, Beauty, Makeup, How to Wear
Everything you need to give yourself a little eyelift, sans surgery, is already in your makeup bag. So kiss dark circles and droopy lids goodbye and say hello to your new nude best friends. The key to a youthful eye is the good old "less is more" mantra. Seriously! Kick smoky eyes to the curb in favor of soft, nude hues and you'll reap the benefits. Here's how.
Concealer: Most of us apply concealer around the entire eye. Instead, apply only from the inner socket to the center of the pupil to cover dark, bluish circles. Going any further outward will only enhance crow's feet.
Shadow: You can still get the look of bigger eyes without all of the dark shadow contouring. Instead, use a chunky pencil in a champagne or bronze, shade up to the crease, and smudge.
Liner: We've all heard this one before – trace your eyes with white liner to really look awake. But sometimes, white can be too obvious. Instead, rim eyes with a flesh colored pencil.
Glow: Glowing skin only enhances a youthful look. The sheerer your coverage the better. Blend some self tanner in with your regular face lotion or, better yet, use a tinted moisturizer to even out tone and add a luminous glow.

The concealer tip totally helps! I had been applying it to a larger area. : )
