The vitamin B3 rich spa products already have a celebrity following (including clear-skinned Renee Zellweger), and so far, their most popular item is their Elasticity Body Balm, available at Saks Fifth Avenue ($55 for 5 oz.). We dig the Body Balm, so we agreed to give their brand new Your Transformation Recovery Intensive Moisture Mask a try.

The Canyon Ranch Your Transformation Recovery Intensive Moisture Mask is intended to hydrate, plump, and firm the skin for a "rejuvenated, more radiant appearance." All right, sign us up! The bottle says to put the mask on for 5-10 minutes, but our Canyon Ranch representative advised us to layer on a warm, wet towel for five minutes to get spa-quality results at home.

Oh, all right, if you insist.

The mask is light and creamy, and dries quickly into a sticky film. This, of course, is because the moisture is seeping into the skin. The layering on of a warm towel opens the pores and makes them able to absorb more of the sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, and Omega-6 fatty acids included in the mask. It also feels good.

After rinsing off the mask, our skin felt firm and clean, looked good, and it didn't smell funny or anything. The moisture was intense, but we still felt the need to use our regular moisturizer afterward. We have a feeling that the mask was doing more important things under our skin.

The Canyon Ranch products, developed with the help of the University of Arizona, have a patented vitamin B3 formula called ProNAD which "reverses DNA damage." ProNAD is apparently going to be continuously releasing niacin into our skin for the next 12 hours; encouraging our skin to repair itself, stimulating leptin production, and boosting our moisture retention.The formula is present in all their products except for the facial spray (because you don't want it in your eyes).
