Back in the year 2000, the Guinness Book of World Records declared the UK's Elaine Davidson the "world's most pierced woman" -- she had 462 (192 in her face alone). Nine years later, Elaine has accumulated an astronomically high 6,005 body piercings, according to the Telegraph. She's also opening her own piercing studio in Darlington, England. Honestly, who better to oversee your intimate piercings but the most pierced woman on Earth who also happens to be a nurse.

Is this record smashing nurse completely insane, or just a member of an elite group of super humans who will do anything to their bodies in order to own a Guinness Book Record?

On the extreme body art scale, Davidson has definitely got the ear hair guy beat. What about the the boob lady? Or eyeball tattoo man?

Yeah, it gets weirder. According to her entry on Wikipedia, 500 of these piercings are in her lady bits -- both internal and external.
