Brighten your eyes with makeup artist Carmindy's easy tips for scoring peepers that glow. "Opposites attract!," she says. "Just look on a color wheel and find the shade that's opposite your natural eye color - this tone will make your orbs look their brightest." Watch on as Carmindy guides us through the best shades of shadow and liner to pop brown, blue, green and hazel eyes.
CARMINDY'S TIP
Here's another trick for eyes that sparkle - look at the flecks in your irises. Are they white or gold? Play up these tiny flecks with a same color shadow - it'll make your eyes look extra glittery.

BRIGHTEN BROWN EYES
If your eyes are brown, use a deep sapphire blue shadow or eyeliner. The deep blue will bring out the orange in you eyes, giving them a lighter, brighter look.

BRIGHTEN BLUE EYES
For blue eyes, use a rich, chocolate brown or a shimmering bronze. The orange tones in browns and bronzes make azure eyes really shine.

BRIGHTEN GREEN EYES
Green eyes sparkle with shades of purple - from plums to amethysts to eggplant. The purple tones will pick up the yellow flecks in verde eyes, giving them a gorgeous glow.

BRIGHTEN HAZEL EYES
Gorgeous shades of green - from moss to lime to forest - make hazel eyes pop. They bring out the red undertones in hazel eyes, making them appear deeper and brighter.

STEP 1: CONTRASTING EYELINER
Choose the right liner shade for your eye color (using the recommendations from the previous slides), and apply it as close to the roots of your lashes as possible, on the top lash lines only. "Top-only liner will make this look really modern," says Carmindy.

STEP 2: NEUTRAL SHADOW
Next, pair the colored liner with a nude eye shadow, sweeping it from the lash lines up into the creases. "A neutral shadow will give the eyes a little subtle definition, but it's the colored liner that really makes them stand out," says Carmindy.
