What is it with clothing that showcases human anatomy? The kinda cute, kinda gross x-ray motif always seems to make for awesome geek chic clothes that you just can't seem to take your eyes off -- kinda like a bad car wreck. That's the type of awesome yet geeky vibe that we get from these anatomical/polka dot Keds on Zazzle. We do have a few criticisms though, like: why are they only available in woman's sizes?

Another thing that stuck us as weird about these Keds is, when you're going for all out geek-chic-tastic, shouldn't you at least be accurate? We're pretty sure that's not what our feet would look like with x-ray vision. In fact, we seem to remember learning where the human heart was located back in Anatomy 101, and we're pretty sure it wasn't in the big toe. Though that was a long time ago.

While these kicks are clever and well done, we think nerdtastic style works best when it's coupled with carefully studied authenticity. For example, that Star Trek: Next Generation corset, or the periodic table rings. Internal organs plastered across any random article of clothing only gets half a geek snort from us.
