Starbucks Hits the Runway in Milan

At the DSquared2 fashion show in Milan on Monday, heads turned in confusion as models traipsed past with what some might not consider a classic fashion accessory -- the Starbucks cup. WTF?
Really? Is this high fashion? Do you feel more stylish when walking around with a cup of money coffee? It is a status symbol. It definitely says "I just dropped hella cash on my caffeine fix." We asked a few readers how they feel when they walk down the street with a Starbucks cup.
"I don't think I ever say to myself, 'You know what this outfit needs? A Starbucks cup!' but I do find that I play the part when I have a cup ... my inner Rachel Zoe comes out. " -- Larissa
"I feel more hoity-toity corporate when I treat myself to a latte at Starbucks ... And that my job is more than Admin Assistant." -- Eva
"If it's a particularly large cup, like one of the Olsen twins." -- Dan
Well, we guess next time you go to Starbucks, you should think about working that cup. Strut down that street like it's a catwalk!
As for the DSquared2 show, we actually think it takes a little of the "runway" out of the look -- like these are people you might see on the street and the model above is on a "Walk of Shame." We're not sure if that's a good thing. Reader Aarthi says "When I saw this, I was drawn in and thought 'maybe this is a collection that has a busier woman in mind.'"

The Starbuck's cup is so cliched but, yes, we love the way we feel strutting down the street in our sunnies with our very over priced latte.

I think the funniest part about this is that there are absolutely NO Starbucks in all of Italy, so they imported that cup just for the fashion show. Ridiculous.
