Louis Vuitton and Danity Kane Settle Lawsuit

More tragic news for pop group Danity Kane. Not only did the once studious ex-member Aubrey O'Day (remember when she almost chose college over the group in the first season of "Making the Band?"), turn into a drugged out nightmare of a publicity whore; the group has now had to settle a lawsuit with luxury brand Louis Vuitton. Bummer.

Louis Vuitton filed the lawsuit due to lyrics in the group's radio hit titled "Show Stopper" that go a little something like this: "Bet you ain't never seen, Chicks ridin' this clean, Louis Vuitton seats, We do it deadly." But leave it to P. Diddy to save the day. According to Luxist.com, "Bad Boy Records has agreed to remove all visual references to Louis Vuitton trademarks and make available amended versions of the album and video without the Louis Vuitton images."

Although LV has let some pop stars, like Jessica Simpson, pimp their image, there are others that the brand hasn't been as kind to including Britney Spears, T.I., and Da Brat among others. Hmm ... we wonder why LV doesn't want those types tarnishing their luxurious image. It's difficult to say.
