A new boutique called Coletta has opened in Soho, NYC. That's the owner right there, ex-Californian Nicole Jerner, with one of the fabulous dresses she chose to show in her highly selective shop.

"She has a great eye," said a fellow browser as we sifted through her collections, which include pieces from Tina Frey, Rime Arodaky, Way It Should Be, and Chris Han, and jewelry by Rebecca Wynne.

The Rime Arodaky dress, shown, has a chic, shameless magenta and white color combination that you rarely see in New York -- even in summer. Many of the Coletta pieces have that "you're not from around here, are you" mystique, which any girl knows how to work to her advantage. Jerner is also wearing a Rime Arodaky top -- definitely a designer to watch for artful shapes and bold zippers!
