Here, fellow partygoer Lake Bell looks supreme in this one-shouldered gown. Top half, casual; bottom half totally couture – love that! This look couldn't get any better if it tried.

As noted, the top half of the dress could equal your go-to party top while the bottom half is meant only for formal occasions. Tie them together and you have such a gorgeous juxtapose. But what we really love is how Lake went nearly nude in the makeup department to let the dress take center stage. You see, she knows one of the golden rules of style; that sometimes it's really not about you and your face. Sometimes, in fashion, it's just about the dress. Period.
