Pixie-like actress Michelle Williams looked supremely adorable at the Spirit Awards in Santa Monica. We worship Michelle for her French chic aesthetic. It's almost always a black or white shoe (preferably pump) with a sassy little show-stealing frock.

Just because the look is clean and classic doesn't mean it isn't trendy. Both the lavender hue and the sporty stripes are right on for SS09. And after all the crazy shoes of yore, those simple, timeless black round toe pumps are finally getting another stab at the limelight.
