Apparently taking her fashion tips from Madonna videos, Roberts wore this pinstriped double breasted suit to the 48th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 1991. Questionable fashion aside, the actress had a very successful night taking home the award for Best Actress - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her now legendary role in "Pretty Woman."

The newly engaged couple attended the premiere of Roberts' 1991 film "Sleeping with the Enemy." Unfortunately their oh-so-trendy 1990s outfits have fared as poorly as their romance. Roughly 2 months later Roberts broke off their engagement three days before the wedding date. Sounds harsh but her reason is rumored to have been Sutherland's secret relationship with a stripper.
