Wear It Today, Return It Tomorrow
How annoying is it to pay hundreds of dollars for a dress that you'll probably only wear once? Or worse, not having the money to buy that DVF gown you've been drooling over? Apparently, Wear Today Gone Tomorrow founder Madeline Passarelli heard your cries and has answered your prayers. "The thrill of new clothing wears off after the first or second wear ... and it's just too expensive and wasteful to have a closet full of clothing you don't wear." Thus Wear Today Gone Tomorrow was born, allowing women to borrow designer clothing at 90% off of the retail value for that special event and then allowing them to return it the next day -- no nagging sales people required.Madeline told us that, "fresh out of college living in NYC ... I was going out a lot, hated to repeat cool clothes, but hated even more spending so much on designer fashion. I checked to see if I could borrow clothing to wear once but I couldn't find anyone doing it."
After college Madeline worked at Lucky Magazine, gathering knowledge for her future business endeavor. "Then a little over a year ago, I saw a press piece on renting accessories and I thought, 'Somebody must be renting designer clothing by now and searched ... but couldn't find anyone credible doing it.
Shortly after, she launched Wear Today Gone Tomorrow. After browsing the site we were blown away by the gorgeously edited inventory and thanks to Madeline those just out of budget DVF maxis we crave each summer are now within reach – a $35 reach to be exact! See for yourself at Wear Today Gone Tomorrow.
